Chicken lorry overturns near Boston
A LORRY carrying 2,500 live chickens overturned at the A16/A17 roundabout junction at Algakirk at about 4.30am on Thursday.
The driver of the DAF articulated lorry, a 67-year-old man from Boston, was slightly injured and taken to Pilgrim Hospital for a check-up.
The was closed while the chickens were transferred to another lorry and the original lorry was recovered.
