Chief executive of Lincoln's Priory Federation of Academies Trust resigns
The chief executive of Lincoln's Priory Federation of Academies Trust, Richard Gilliland, has resigned.
The announcement was made to staff at lunchtime today before being dismissed for the Easter break.

Mr Gilliland has cited “personal reasons” for his resignation.
The Priory Academies of Academies Trust was formed in September 2008 and includes four schools – The Priory Academy LSST, The Priory Witham Academy, The Priory City of Lincoln Academy and The Priory Ruskin Academy.

Chairman of the trust, T Coffey, said: “We would like to acknowledge everything that he has achieved during his career.”
Deputy chief executive and headmaster of the Priory Academy LSST, Ian Jones, has taken on the role on an interim basis.
Mr Coffey added: “He will receive additional support from myself and my fellow trustees during this period.”
