Children 'get involved' with fun day in park
CENTRAL Park in Boston played host to the final Boston Mayflower Get Out, Get Involved event of the summer.
Bringing the curtain down on the popular scheme for another year, the event featured a wide range of games and activities, including a bouncy castle, cheerleading, gladiator jousting, sports and crafts.

There were also informative activities, such as a fire safety house and a police display.
Boston Mayflower's community initiatives team leader Bev Chapman told the Target: "Our Get, Out Get Involved sessions went extremely well.
"More than 1,400 children attended across the five events, meaning numbers were up by about 20 per cent on previous sessions.
"Partnership working at the events was excellent too, with companies such as Speedy Hire loaning generators to us for free and in the process helping the efforts we are making to ensure these events can continue.
"If any other local companies wish to help us, we would welcome a chat with them."
