Inspector Mark Garthwaite said: "This is frankly disgusting, and can only have been perpetrated by someone with little or no morals, and certainly with no respect whatsoever for the child and their family and friends, and their feelings.

"I would urge anyone with information to pass it on to us and I would urge the culprit to look at themselves and come forward and admit that what they have done is totally wrong."

“Who ever did this should hang their head/s in shame but they won't. My sympathy goes out to the families, I cannot begin to imagine what they must be going through. If you know who did this forget any loyalty you may have towards them and bubble the scum.”
