Chris Sutton honoured that Lincoln City are playing Celtic in pre-season friendly
CHRIS SUTTON is relishing the prospect of facing one of the "biggest clubs in the world" as Lincoln City prepare to face Celtic tomorrow (3pm).
A bumper crowd is expected at Sincil Bank for the money-spinning friendly with the police expecting up to 4,000 fans to make the trip from Glasgow.

Chris Sutton.
It is Neil Lennon's first pre-season fixture in Britain this summer and he is set to field some of his summer signings in Daryl Murphy and Joe Ledley.
The game holds extra significance for Sutton (pictured right), who was a Bhoys legend at Parkhead where he spent six trophy-filled years before leaving for Birmingham.
And Sutton cannot wait to send out his new-look squad to face the European Cup winners.
"It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and it was a real honour to play for them," said Sutton.
"Glasgow was a special place to live and their support is second to none in my opinion and others too.
"When we played in the UEFA Cup final, around 60,000 to 70,000 made the trip, although I don't see many making the trip tomorrow.
"It will be a special day for us and these next two games will really test us in terms of where we are at.
"If we are flawed and make mistakes then I'm sure both sides, Celtic and Norwich (on Wednesday), will be good enough to take advantage."
Like Sutton, Celtic boss Neil Lennon is a newcomer to the cutthroat world of football management having succeeded Tony Mowbray last season.
The former Leicester midfielder, who starred alongside the Imps boss in the glittering Martin O'Neill reign, is now hoping to dethrone Rangers as the kings of Scottish football.

“We did warn you folks. 20 arrested, IRA songs, anti British songs and pubs being wrecked. Fighting among themselves, as well as with Lincoln supporters is all in a days work for the demented ones. You can forget the Scottish press mentioning their behaviour though, they are untouchable up here.”

“Im upset about this, my wife is Glaswegian. She had to leave Glasgow becauase of sectarian abuse from celtic fans, she was singled out for not being irish, and now we invite this into our green and pleasant land. What on earth is this country coming to. Im going to Nottingham for the day, let mew know when they have gone..”

“My dad was born and brought up in Glasgow and I was brought up following the Celtic of Tommy GemmelL, Jimmy Johnstone and Keny Dalglish. I remember the two of us listening to the European cup match with Leeds in 1970 and Im looking forward to the match tomorrow. I hope the fans respect Sutton and don't use the opportunity for any so called political message. What has a football match at Sincil Bank got to do with British Imperialism? If you have a political point to make, I doubt if anyone in government will be at the match tomorrow and any message accompanied by loutish behaviour will be ignored and therefore will serve no purpose in furthering any cause.”
