Police assure residents they are tackling rural burglaries
POLICE are reassuring owners of local businesses that they are doing all they can to stop a spate of burglaries in rural villages.
In recent weeks, a number of incidents have taken place at pubs, post offices, filling stations and shops across the east coast.
The most recent burglary took place last Tuesday evening at the Post Office in Bilsby where a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol were stolen.
