Club skipper Gareth Jelleyman leaves Boston United by mutual consent
Club skipper Gareth Jelleyman has become the latest big-name departure from Boston United after leaving the club by mutual consent.
The former Peterborough United left-back began his third spell at the club in 2010 under promotion-winning joint-bosses Rob Scott and Paul Hurst.
Jelleyman has been almost ever-present in the team over the last three years, but has been hindered by an Achilles injury this season.
"I wish Gareth all the best for the future. He has been a top player for Boston United," said Pilgrims boss Graham Drury, who released another experienced defender, Gary Silk, earlier this month.

"His partner has had a baby in the last few hours and we wish them all well."
In recent signing Paul Mayo, Boston have a ready-made replacement at left-back. However, the former Lincoln City defender, who is a policeman, will not be available for much of March.
