Cocaine deals 'like selling milk'
A clubber caught trying to take cocaine into a Lincoln club said it was 'just like selling milk,' a court heard.
Kevin McCann was approached by door staff outside Jumping Jak's venue after he appeared to pass an item to another person in the queue.
-

Rob Townsend, prosecuting, told Lincoln Crown Court that McCann was searched and four wraps of cocaine were found on him.
Then when police checked his mobile they found a text message in his inbox saying "Have you got any charlie?" .
The court heard that when McCann was interviewed by probation staff he likened his position to that of a shop selling milk.
McCann (24) of Holly Street, Lincoln, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply on 7 June 2008. He was jailed for two years.
Judge John Milmo QC told him "The courts do not regard the supply of class A drugs in the same way as a shop selling milk."
Mark Van der Zwart, in mitigation, asked for McCann to be given credit for being honest with police over what he was doing.
He said McCann's lifestyle changed after he lost his job.
Mr Van der Zwart said that McCann was not a commercial dealer.
