Colin Daniels, founder and chairman of Danwood in Lincoln, sacked
The founder and chairman of the Lincoln firm Danwood has been sacked.
Colin Daniels' employment with the company was terminated this week after he was suspended along with three other senior directors.
A spokesman for the Whisby Road business said Richard Coles, Peter Hopton and David Jones would remain suspended until the conclusion of "due process".
The office printing equipment supplier has not revealed the circumstances behind the suspensions or why Mr Daniels was removed from his post.

“If what other websites have reported is true, I imagine those millions of pounds of "profit" over the past five years have enabled the suspended directors to justify enormous salaries. While it appears they have lived in luxury, driving cars worth more than many of our houses, those lower down the food chain, facing redundancy may be struggling to pay their food and heating bills next winter. This seems symbolic of what has happened in western society as a whole.
Is it time there was an independent, EXTERNAL investigation into what it appears has been happening at Danwood? Perhaps with ex employees and customers coming forward and giving evidence to make sure justice is done?”
