Come dine with Old Hall characters
Gainsborough Old Hall is planning a medieval cooking event utilising Easter traditions, dating from the Middle Ages, over the forthcoming bank holiday.
Running from Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1 visitors will discover quirky and inventive medieval recipes from Easter-time.
The fires will be lit and a pot of aromatic 'stew' will be simmering in the background as costumed characters prepare various dishes throughout the day, alongside pre-prepared delicacies.
