'Concrete Canvas' invades Sleaford
After the announcement of the 'Concrete Canvas' installations around Sleaford, the KSHSSA news team set out around the town to find art and film it! Finding the art turned out to quite an easy task, considering there are so many different types of graffiti, sculptures and modern art that appeared in Sleaford as part of the exhibition.
The first thing that was found was graffiti made out of masking tape that covered the area of an entire fence next to KSHSSA. The text read 'You were once WILD'.

Concrete Canvas in Sleaford
The windmill in the centre of Sleaford has been 'yarn bombed', so that several webs of wool decorated the outside. Tiles made by artist Bethany Walker, which merge textiles and concrete have been placed on walls in the town.
All these pieces are part of the "Concrete Canvas' exhibition currently showing at the National Centre for Craft and Design. There's loads of stuff to see and also a special game of hide and seek! Hundreds of ceramic bugs, made by Anna Collette-Hunt have been placed around Sleaford – how many can you find?
