Contractors at Lucy Tower car park in Lincoln ahead of closure for repair works
Contractors will be at Lucy Tower car park in Lincoln this week preparing the site for its closure on Monday.
Mansells, who will be carrying out the works for the City of Lincoln Council, will be windproofing the site over the coming days, before the site is closed for parking on March 25.

Extra signs will be installed on the Sunday evening diverting traffic to other nearby car parks, including Orchard Street which will be turned into a full time public Pay and Display Car Park.
Steve Bird, assistant director of communities and street scene, said: "There will be works going on around the car park next week, but it will still be open until the end of the day on Sunday 24.

"Leaflets are being handed out to customers using Lucy Tower in the run up to the closure, and we will be doing all we can to make sure people are not only aware it is happening, but where to find alternative parking.
"We are urging people to think ahead now and have clear plans in place for where they will park from Monday."
Lucy Tower car park will be closed for around 20 weeks so essential repairs can be carried out on the lower floors.
It will cost the council around £1.1 million and although the site will not open again until the summer, the investment secures the site as a car park for the future.
The council says the decision to close the car park was unavoidable and necessary to let the extensive essential repairs take place.
