AN East Lindsey school volunteer project has turned into national programme

The London 2012 inspired volunteer project, produced by the British Heart Foundation, involves young people from the Cordeaux School in Louth and sees students plan and deliver physical activity sessions to children in primary schools in the area.

The programme called Flames: Lighting the Way, is held in partnership with the Loughborough College and has achieved the prestigious Olympic Inspire Mark from the organisers of London 2012.

The project has allowed the young leaders at Cordeaux School to develop strong links with local primary schools and is East Lindsey's 13th inspire marked project.
