Councillors' grants help host of community projects
COMMUNITY grants have been awarded to organisations across East Lindsey.
Coningsby/Tattershall Cllr Raymond Curtis has given £430 to the United Methodist Church to replace crockery for the community based kitchen and in Horncastle, Councillors Stephen Newton, Sandra Campbell-Wardman and Fiona Martin have each given £150 to the Wong Working Group towards the production of business and consultation plans.
In Woodhall Spa, Cllr Philip Harness has granted £500 to the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum to help provide furniture and display boards in the museum's new community room.
In Louth, councillors Micheal Preen and Sarah Dodds have each given £500 to Louth Living Well which will help provide a budget to support households who cannot afford to furnish their homes and Cllr George Horton has given £400 to the Louth Town U13 football team for footballs, training tops and marker cones.
