Dennis Greene targets new signings as he praises his Boston United squad
BOSTON United boss Dennis Greene insists his hunt for reinforcements is no reflection on his squad.
Greene was poised to strengthen his squad last night (Tuesday) with up to two new signings, with a left winger and a central midfielder at the top of his wish list.

But after picking up back-to-back wins since taking charge last week, Greene says he is merely looking to add more balance to his side.
"It's not because the players aren't doing well, because they are, we just need some options for substitutions," said the former Histon boss.

"We haven't got a left winger and we're short of central midfielders.
"Anton (Foster) is now suspended for two games.
"Nathan Stainfield replaced him on Saturday and did a fantastic job, but obviously it's not his rightful position.
"So we do need one or two in, but the lads have done great.
"I'm hopeful of getting them in soon so they can train with us, but sometimes you get agreements and then they fall apart.
"Discussions are under way and hopefully they'll be two really good signings."
Following the wins over Gloucester and Brackley, Greene believes the Pilgrims are just one win away from securing their Blue Square Bet North status.
"If we get one more win we'll stay in this division and I've done my job in a sense," said Greene, who is set to be offered a deal for next season if the campaign ends well.
"It just means we can play the kind of football we want to play and express ourselves more.
"Sometimes, when you're under pressure not to get relegated, your fear of losing the game takes over, however much you want to play good football."
