Dog rescued after getting head trapped between railings in Lincoln

Fire crews were called to Moorland Avenue in Lincoln to rescue a dog with its head trapped between two railings.

The incident happened at 1.27pm yesterday, when a crew from Lincoln South was dispatched to come to the aid of a German shepherd.

The dog was freed using hydraulic rescue gear and is said to have been unharmed.
