A dog has killed two pigs in an attack on a number of farm animals in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.

The incident occurred in the fields to the rear of Clarke's garage, behind Spilsby Road and Winceby Gardens, at around noon on Wednesday.

A sheep also suffered bite marks.

Police are trying to trace a potential witness who was walking her dogs in the area at the time.

She is described as having three dogs on a lead and a large dog, similar to a German Shepherd but pale in colour, off the lead.
