A unique production of one of Shakespeare's most popular classics will be shown at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre on Friday (February 1).

Caught between his grief and thirst for revenge, Hamlet rages against his newly crowned uncle, his once loving mother and those he believed to be his friends.

He confronts life, death and madness with equal passion and indifference as Elsinore decays and the once proud Denmark slips into revolt.

Brought to stage by The Lincoln Company, this production sees two actors, one male and one female, play Hamlet – on stage together to show the contradictions in his nature. One portrays the cunning and calmer aspect of his personality, but is no less malicious than the vengeful, impulsive Hamlet.
