Banned motorist caught driving his father's ice cream van to be repaired
A MAN who drove an ice cream van on the A46 while disqualified must wait for reports to be written before he is sentenced.
Umburto Barbierto, 34, of Surrey, was driving his father's ice cream van to Scunthorpe for specialist repairs when stopped by police.

He pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, without insurance and without an up-to-date MOT.
In mitigation, Roisin McCaffrey told the court Barbierto's father was in hospital when the van broke.
She said: "Mr Barbierto foolishly took it upon himself to drive."
