Driver cut free from car near Gainsborough treated for head injury
Firefighters freed a trapped driver from the wreckage of a two-car crash which blocked the main A631 at Corringham.
It happened last night when the vehicles were in collision at Harpswell Lane near the village, three miles from Gainsborough.
Crews from Gainsborough and Kirton Lindsey helped to free the man, who was treated for a head injury at Lincoln County Hospital.
The road was blocked for several hours from 7.30pm last night while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash to call the 101 non-emergency number quoting incident number 387 of August 25 or the collision witness hotline on 01522v 558855.
