Drivers caught out during Battle of Britain restrictions in Lincoln
Drivers were caught out after temporary parking restrictions were enforced in Lincoln.
Tickets were issued to 12 vehicles in Minster Yard.
Jeanne Gibson, principal highways officer at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “Parking was suspended on Sunday to accommodate the RAF Battle of Britain parade around the Cathedral. A number of signs were put up to inform people of the suspension.
“If anyone feels their ticket was issued incorrectly, we would encourage them to challenge the decision."
