MIDFIELDER Arron Scutt and striker Michael Gardner are set to return to the Skegness Town squad for the short trip to Horncastle Town on Saturday (3pm).

Scutt, 20, has been sidelined through injury since October.

His last game in a Skegness shirt was at Skellingthorpe PFC on October 31 last year, when he helped the seasiders to a 4-1 win.

Gardner hasn't played for the Lilywhites since limping out of their County Cup exit at Harvest on November 7.

The striker, who has just completed a suspension, has scored eight goals in his 12 appearances for the seasiders.

Lincolnshire FA has imposed a 35-day ban on Jordan Dixon following his red card during that cup defeat at Harvest.

The suspension will start on January 25, so he will be available for the Horncastle trip.

Town have already beaten Horncastle this season, when a solitary goal was enough to secure three points at Burgh Road.

Horncastle used to be managed by the seasiders' co-boss Barry Kilmore and a number of the Lilywhites played under him at The Wong before moving to Skegness.

Horncastle currently occupy 10th place in the league table, having won six of their 18 league games played.

Skegness reserves visit Kirton on Saturday (2pm).
