EASTER EVENT: Garden of Surprises at Burghley House
The Garden of Surprises at Burghley House is the setting for another Easter egg hunt. The garden at the 16th century mansion near Stamford opened in 2007 and was inspired by an Elizabethan garden established by the first Lord Burghley.
Visitors on Easter Sunday from 11am until 5pm (last admission 4.30pm) can follow a trail finding the families of chicks to claim a chocolate egg.
