EASTER EVENT: Medieval Kitchen at Gainsborough Old Hall

Visitors to Gainsborough Old Hall can step back in time for a taste of a Medieval Kitchen over the Easter break. This will include demonstrations and “hands-on” activities.

The kitchens at the magnificent manor house, which has played host to Richard III and Henry VIII , John Wesley and The Mayflower Pilgrims, remain virtually unchanged from when it was build.

The former home of the Burgh family, bequeathed to the nation in 1970, is managed by Lincolnshire County Council on behalf of English Heritage.

Opening hours are 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 11am- 5pm Saturday and Sunday. The minimum price for visitors is £4 and maximum price £16. Medieval Kitchen events are daily from Good Friday to Easter Monday.
