Jake Sheridan scored twice against his former club as Lincoln City secured a 4-2 win against Eastwood Town this afternoon.

The Imps had fallen behind in the 19th minute when a short back pass from Josh Gowling allowed the Badgers to capitalise.

But Andrew Boyce levelled immediately with a towering header from a corner.

Sheridan then tapped in from close range following good work by Rob Duffy and then made it 3-1 just after the break from a Nicky Nicolau cross.

“Well lincsport is better at the moment for sure...just a pity LCFC can't be bothered to arrange cover for JV while he is on holiday...if they want to generate interest and season ticket sales and sponsorship during the run-up to the new season, they really should make the effort to report on the actual football !!”

“As already said, JV is away.

The Club had to roll out the website on a certain day and that was the same for all other Clubs. Everyone else is also experiencing the same problems and the hosting company are hoping to get these ironed out before the start of the season.

Squad numbers haven't been released yet and squad profiles are controlled by the PA, not the Club.”

I was thinking the same, but JV who manages the website is on his hols and I assume he doesn't have an assistant. Guess we'll have to wait till he returns.

“When will the new LCFC website start publishing proper match reports, with line-ups, substitutes, info about trialists, squad numbers etc.
There has been NIL so far. This is quite appalling.
There is not much info on this site either....”

“Make the most of it, like F1 this weekend it passed without anyone knowing and Imps will just drift off to nothing for several weeks now. I'm off to Stratford.”
