Emergency repairs on sinking slabs in city centre
Paving slabs in Lincoln High Street sunk into the ground, prompting emergency roadworks.
Lincolnshire County Council shut down the section outside Boots after the ground began to deteriorate "rapidly."

The work comes just days after a woman took a nasty fall in the same area, leaving her dazed and with several bloody injuries.
The authority confirmed it received calls from members of the public about the sunken slabs, which were making the area outside the store's front doors uneven.
Dave Underwood, senior highways officer said: "The decision was taken to carry out the emergency works because of a sudden rapid deterioration in the paving in this area over the last week.
"We had two reports from members of the public expressing concern over the uneven paving, and due to the heavy use of this area by pedestrians and vehicles, these works needed carrying out as soon as possible.
"A small void has been found under the slabs and will be backfilled as a temporary repair to make it safe for pedestrians and vehicles."
