Faces who will fight your corner in Europe
The Conservative Party has continued its winning streak in the European elections, gaining 26.5 per cent of the vote in the East Midlands.
Results were announced on Sunday night from Thursday's European elections.

It became clear that the Conservatives were winning by the amount of blue pegs holding the voting slips.
The East Midlands is now represented by two Conservative members, one Labour MEP, one Liberal Democrat and one UKIP representative.
Roger Helmer, who has represented the East Midlands in Europe for the last 10 years, was re-elected along with Conservative newcomer Emma McClarkin.
Over the last five years Ms McClarkin, who was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, has worked as a press officer for Conservative party's East Midlands MEPs and as political advisor to Roger Helmer in the European Parliament.
Labour secured 17.7 per cent of the vote meaning Glenis Willmott was re-elected following three years as an MEP.
Bill Newton Dunn was also re-elected after 12.9 per cent voted Liberal Democrat.
And another newcomer, Derek Clark of UKIP, completed the lineup after 17.2 per cent of voters opted for the anti-EU party.
The BNP did not receive enough votes to secure an MEP position but did come fifth with 9.10 per cent of the votes.
Turnout in the East Midlands was 35 per cent, down eight per cent on the last elections.

“Amazing. 9.1% of the voting electorate have shoe sizes in excess of their IQs.”
