A giant chalk copy of a famous labyrinth has been drawn on the floor of Lincoln Cathedral.

Students from the University of Lincoln's School of Architecture drew out the replica of the Chartres Labyrinth under the central tower of Lincoln Cathedral.

The chalk outline will be in place until tomorrow.

    “Thank you nadsteve.
I am sure that there are hundreds if not thousands of potential readers who either stopped, or never even started, reading the Echo for this very sort of reason. I bought one weeks worth of copies fifteen years ago. Have never wasted my time reading the paper since. I only even learned of this article, and any of the others that I comment upon, via the headline on Twitter. No wonder the Echo has reduced to a weekly.”

“Phil, maybe Jake would enjoy the maze at Doddington Hall.”

“If my children drew on the living room floor with chalks they would be in serious trouble. Take their chalks away now before they get up to anything else!”

“Could not agree more with the above comments, one of the main reasons I no longer buy the paper.”

“This news paper is always the same. It reports the NEWS that has happened. It never reports EVENTS that are up-coming. That is left up to the organisers to ADvertise.
This is a great shame, and personally I believe it has lowered circulation. No doubt the Owners will argue that they don't promote events because it would be cutting their throats as event organisers would cease to advertise. I think that it is a shame that the Editorial staff are not grown-up enough to realise when an event such as this is where an exception should be made, and retail growth would have paid dividends. To late now, as the paper is know to not bother.”
