A farmer helped fire crews tackle a blaze in a North Scarle field.

An agricultural vehicle known as a teleporter was used by the farm owner to support firefighters, who were called at 6.41pm today.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the incident, near Collingham, involved a "large quantity" of wooden pallets.

The pallets were originally set alight through "controlled burning".
