SO Festival 2012 gets underway in streets of Spilsby
FARMER Giles, giant bouncing kangaroos and a man with a six foot balloon took to the streets in Spilsby on Monday as SO Festival 2012 got underway.
This year, the week-long programme of events will see street theatre acts touring round the district visiting towns and villages across East Lindsey.

Yesterday, visitors to Alford market would have seen the town filled with Vegetable Nannies, motorised Granny Turismo and stilt-walking Bobbies.
As the week goes on the entertainment will continue in Mablethorpe and Skegness.

This weekend, Skegness will play host to some of the festival’s biggest events including Bicycle Ballet on North Parade car park on today at 6.30pm and aerial performance spectacular, As The World Tipped on the Festival car park tommorrow at 9.45pm.
