Other acts confirmed include acoustic musicians Morris, who are also supporting The View and The Proclaimers in Cleethorpes this summer and Harry David who will perform alongside rapper, Linc, who appeared at Radio 1's Big Weekend last year.
Indie pop-rockers 3 Hour Week, who have been selected as 'emerging artists' by the Kaiser Chiefs, are also on the bill.
Special guests Groovy Teaparty from Sweden will complete the line-up and one of the local bands will be selected on the night for an all expenses paid trip to perform a gig in Sweden.
The SO Festival 2012 builds on the success of the last three years and is now a district-wide, week-long event.
