VIDEO: 1,100 Santas turn out to take part in annual city fun run
JOGGERS, jinglers and even a juggler all turned out to take part in this year's Santa Fun Run.
With bells attached to ankles, beards on faces and the occasional dog sporting antlers, nearly 1,100 individuals took part in the annual event yesterday afternoon.

Organised by the Rotary Club Of Lincoln Colonia, this year saw a shortened course to take into account the icy roads.
But the bad weather did not put off many of the red-clad joggers.
Event organiser for the rotary club Roger Hall said: "I have a great deal of time for the Highways Agency. They walked the route with us and have been very positive in their approach.
"We're glad we were able to put something on, the past few weeks have been very challenging, but the atmosphere was as fantastic as ever."
With a county cross-country event cancelled because of the weather, some serious runners turned up on the day to join the fun.
Maths teacher Glenn Moore, 48, completed the course in 12 minutes.
He said: "This is my first time doing the run, it seems great fun.
"I was a bit surprised they were going ahead with it, but the roads don't seem too bad. It is very well organised, we turned up this morning to register and it was fine."
Because of the need to make sure the paths were fully gritted, runners did three 1km laps of the course, which started and finished in Castle Square.
Young runners also took part, and Lincoln MP Karl McCartney ran the route with his two young sons.
Mr McCartney said: "It was cold at first, but it got warm as we went round. The boys did very well. It is great to see people in Lincoln turning out for this fantastic charity event.
"Well done to everyone who took part, despite the weather, and to the Rotary Club Of Lincoln Colonia for organising everything.
"It is great to see a mixture of families and serious runners all doing their bit for local and national charities."

“I liked the expression "beards on faces". Where else did they think that they may have had beards?!”
