Firefighters still tackling 60 tonne straw bale blaze
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue are still attempting to douse a large straw bale fire in Swineshead, near Boston.
60 tonnes of straw bale caught light yesterday evening, on Browns Drove.
The fire service made their way to the incident at around 7.30pm last night.
Fire crews from Donington and Kirton had started to deal with the blaze – but extra firefighters from Billingborough and Boston took over later last night.

This morning the fire service was still working to dampen the blaze.
Almost 24 hours later, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say two fire engines still remain at the site now.
They are using jets and pumping from open water in a bid to stop the blaze.
