Flooding affects more than 30 homes and businesses in Skegness
A LOCALISED torrential downpour in Skegness yesterday afternoon resulted in around 30 homes and businesses being flooded.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue began receiving calls to flooded properties at around 4.30pm and crews from Skegness, Alford, Wainfleet, Mablethorpe, Spilsby and Leverton were all dispatched to deal with the issues.
Roman Bank was closed for around one hour after flood water affected a stretch of road between Muirfield Drive and North Shore Road.
