includes some
of the rarest Spinning Wheels including a working Great Georgian Wheel.
The Great Georgian
Wheel was used in the South of Lincolnshire which has a rich woollen
heritage.
Nearly 30 wheels will be on display.Other wheels include a John Jameson 'boudior/carriage' wheel, Victorian 'Scandinavian' wheel, mid 18th century 'muckle' wheel & a handbuilt 'geared' wheel by the late Bill Gayler, plus many other scarce wheels that normaly can only be seen in museums!
Demonstrations and talks will be given during the 2 day exhibition.
Spinners will also be appearing in Period Costume.
