Free films at The Collection
Flying the flag for Made In Britain, The Collection in Lincoln has this week launched a new season of free matinee films.
Highlights include Les Miserables, starring Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, and Danny Boyle's latest film Trance, which follows an unscrupulous art dealer who double crosses a criminal gang involved in the theft of a priceless masterpiece. Also, Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz and Alan Rickman star in Gambit where an art curator decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss by conning him into buying a fake Monet.
Back by popular demand is a second showing of Wild And The Willing starring John Hurt and Ian McShane – filmed almost entirely in Lincoln. Other movies include Anna Karenina and Song For Marion, alongside classics such as Whistle Down The Wind, Saturday Night And Sunday Morning, A Man For All Seasons and the original version of Brighton Rock staring Richard Attenborough.
