Free taster sessions for budding musicians in Lincoln
Musicroom Lincoln has two events lined up for the coming weeks, starting Saturday, March 16 with a series of free 'taster' lessons as part of this year's national Learn to Play Day.
The High Street store is calling on budding musicians to try their hand at playing a musical instrument with the help of the store staff and teachers – with guitar and keyboard lessons provided by The Music Tutor.

Mark Harrison, Musicroom Lincoln's manager, says: "We are really looking forward to being a part of this year's national Learn to Play Day, following the success of last year's store event. There is so much to see and do, and it will give people the chance to get a taste of the instruments they have always wanted to play."
Musicroom Lincoln will be offering a 10% store discount on the day for participants and there will be a prize draw with vouchers up for grabs. Refreshments will also be available.

As well as holding the taster sessions, Musicroom Lincoln is inviting local music enthusiasts to attend a free demonstration of the new Yamaha Clavinova CVP609 digital piano at the Terry O'Toole theatre in North Hykeham on Friday, April 5 (7.30pm, free admission) with special guest Peter Baartman.
