Fuel prices in Lincolnshire 5p below average
Motorists in Lincolnshire are paying almost 5p a litre less at the pumps than their East Midlands neighbours.
The AA says its latest fuel price research shows motorists are stumping up an average of 108.3p a litre to fill up with unleaded petrol and 109.7p for diesel at forecourts in the East Midlands.

Fuel retailers have been accused of not passing on savings to customers.
But Echo research has shown some filling stations in the county are setting prices well below these figures with none of the 10 surveyed exceeding the AA's unleaded petrol price findings.
In some instances, it was priced nearly 5p a litre cheaper in Lincoln than the East Midlands average with Morrisons, in Tritton Road, Lincoln, and Asda, in North Hykeham, both at the 103.9p mark.
The highest priced diesel at the 10 stations asked was 110.9p with four between 3p to 4p below average.
But the AA's president Edmund King slammed the current charges nationwide and said despite falling prices, not all retailers had passed on savings.
Lincolnshire spokesman for the Association of British Drivers Keith Peat said the group believed retailers should be spared from blame.
"Without a question of doubt, it's all down to the Government," he said.
