G4S contract with Lincolnshire Police unaffected by decision of other forces, says Alan Hardwick
Police and Crime Commissioner for Lincolnshire Alan Hardwick says the decision of three police forces to pull out of a deal to outsource some services to G4S has no impact on the private firm's agreement with Lincolnshire Police.
Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire forces were looking at contracting G4S to provide joint IT and human resources.
But the respective PCC's have pulled out of the deal.
Lincolnshire Police and G4S currently have a ten-year agreement worth around £200 million.

Mr Hardwick said: "I have had nothing at all to do with the discussions that have led to this decision and things will continue as they are in Lincolnshire.
"What is suitable in one area may not be suitable in another.
"This news has no effect on the agreement between Lincolnshire Police and G4S and services will continue as normal."
