It looked like they would hold on for all three points, but three

minutes into stoppage time, a cross from the right seemed to be left by

Danny Hone and Jan Budtz alike, with the unlucky Luke Waterfall

unwittingly deflecting the ball across the line.

Trinity were forced into two changes for the game, with Domonic Knowles

coming in for Bradley Barraclough, who has returned to parent club

Lincoln City, and Jamie Yates replaced Terry Hawkridge who was missing

due to illness.

The home side were off to a good start when Knowles, Yates and Michael

Leary were involved in a move down the right, which ended with Darryn

Stamp heading just over Jasbir Singh's crossbar.

After 12 minutes, Solihull hit Trinity on the break with Jan Budtz using

his feet to save Michael Blackwood's shot from distance. The ball

rebounded into the path of Junior English, but his shot was high and

wide.

Just before the half-hour mark, the Northolme crowd were on their feet

as Stamp launched himself at a high ball. The striker was hyorizontal

and five feet in the air, but his spectacular attempt was foiled as a

defender headed the ball away at the last second. Another Trinity attack

saw Yates put Knowles through, but his low shot was saved by the diving

Singh.

There was a lively start to the second half as Danny Spencer for

Solihull had a shot saved and then Stamp hit the post from close range

as Trinity pushed for the opening goal. On the hour mark, Stamp headed

the ball down to rampaging full back Josh Wilde, but his left-foot shot

flashed across the goal line.

Trinity continued to press and with 12 minutes to go Yates twisted and

turned to get into the box before feeding Wilde. His low cross was met

by Connor who fired just wide.

Trinity's patience paid off on 80 minutes with the opening goal. A deep

cross from Yates found Dominic Roma flying in at the far post and he

headed the ball downwards and out of the reach of the sprawling Singh

for his first goal of the season.

Two minutes into injury time the visitors levelled the scores. A good

cross from substitute Darryl Knights from the right was left at the near

post by Hone and Budtz and it hit Waterfall and trickled over the line

for a disappointing end to the game.
