Gainsborough Trinity boss out to avenge last season's defeat by Boston United
Steve Housham has come out fighting as the opening shots were fired ahead of Saturday's Lincolnshire derby.
The Gainsborough Trinity boss admitted the memory of last season's home defeat against Boston United still hurts both himself and his players, writes Dave Marshall.

And he says this Saturday's Blue Square Bet North clash with Graham Drury's side gives his players the opportunity to restore some pride and make amends for the 3-1 loss at the Northolme in November 2011.
"There has been a lot of talk ahead of this game, now it's time to do the talking on the pitch," said Housham.

"When I address my players before the game on Saturday, I will remind them of the way Boston reacted to their win last season.
"They celebrated like they had won the title and things like that stick in the mind. It hurt and I don't mind telling you.
"A lot has been said recently about Gainsborough Trinity being a little club with big money, well that is nonsense.
"We are ambitious and we want to keep winning and keep bringing in these three-point hauls.
"This game is no different in that way, but it is a derby against our local rivals and it does bring a bit more passion with it."
The two teams go into the game with very different form.
While Trinity earned a superb 3-0 win at Workington on Tuesday evening, Boston suffered their worst defeat of the season, losing 7-1 against Altrincham.
"Graham Drury is the kind of man that will know how to lift his side after such a defeat," added Housham.
"They could have lost 10-0 on Tuesday and it would make no difference to this match.
"It is a derby and whoever wins will have to earn it.
"Graham will demand a response from his players, but I will also demand a response from my squad.
"Everyone will be up for this game. I expect the 11 players who start the match to play with pride."
While new signing Mark Jones will be in Trinity's squad on Saturday, Housham has not revealed whether the former Boston man will start against his old club.
The striker impressed on his Trinity debut against Workington despite not getting on the scoresheet.
However, Housham says he saw enough to suggest he could cause his old team problems.
