Gainsborough Trinity are the only Blue Square North team to reach the last four of the FA Trophy.

The only other team from the same level, Halifax, missed out on their bid to make the semi-finals, when they lost 3-2 against Dartford last night. The result means Grimsby Town play Dartford for a place in the final at Wembley on March 24. While hopes of an all-Lincolnshire showpiece at the national stadium remain on course with Gainsborough Trinity facing their semi-final against Wrexham.

The Blues have so far dumped three Blue Square Premier League sides out of the competition, with Forest Green Rovers, Tamworth and Barrow falling victim to Steve Housham's side. Barrow, a former club of Housham and Trinity assistant boss Lee Warren, were knocked out thanks to goals from Michael Leary and Luke Waterfall last Saturday.

Trinity are back in action on Saturday with a trip to Droylsden in Blue Square North.
