“Chicken Bob, you predicted while we were still in League 2 we would be in administration, we weren't. You then waited and said it again for around January. How you can say that you were within 10 days is beyond me as you didn't give a specific date on any occasion. Interesting at the announcement of the 500k investment you said you would half eat humble pie and encouraged the Ukranian lad not to just yet, mainly because the financial details around the investment. Interestingly you made no claim then that you were right in your timing of the administation, perhaps you are wagering on people not going back and checking?
As for internet fantasist, that was not me. Still, why let facts get in the way of things? I think you are more likely to be someone with a vested interest in the Chairman leaving but only if it means a specific person takes over the role. I like your posts from the point of view it is something to think about and gives another side of the argument, but the commenting on knowing things you can't talk about is uncessary.”

“According to my sources, Dean Holdsworth is now favourite for the job...

And if things don't work out, his Dad may be able to step in at short notice as long as he doesn't miss Antiques Roadshow.
(some of the above may not be true)”

“Eatmygoal - I don't want to get into another silly internet argument with you, after all, we both want what is best for Lincoln City. However, I do have to correct your comment about the date being "four months out". If anyone wants to check back to my comments posted as GeorgeGordon in 2011, they will see that my prediction (with a date) of us going into administration, was correct to within less than 10 days of the actual date the holding company was formed. Bob Dorrian stated publicly that the club had formed the holding company to prevent us going into administration (something that is absolutely true). So my prediction of 'administration' was correct, although the holding company formation prevented it.
There is a lot going on behind the scenes right now, that fans are not aware of and which cannot be made public. If I tried to say anything here my comments would be deleted - as were comments that I made recently about possible new investors (it took the Echo less than 10 minutes to delete the comment!!!!!) If anyone read this post before deletion, please confirm my story so that EMG knows I'm not making it up.
You can say that I am an internet fantasist if you want to EMG. You probably think I'm some sad lonely, geeky, virginal, spotty computer programmer with bad breath, who gets his kicks by pretending to be 'in the know'... but I will leave the readers to make their own minds up.”

“Coming back worked for Murphy and Alexander (and many others, including Eddie Howe at Bournemouth) because they were good managers. I'm more interested in whether Gary Simpson is up to the job... he'd be coming back in a different role, don't forget. I'm not sure he has the credentials yet.”

“I always thought when polls are voted on they should total 100% ,but if you count the percentages in the Lincoln Candidates list the number of votes only equals 99% ?????”

“I think you need to check your facts Eat my Goat-Chicken George was spot on in his prediction. He predicted a potential black hole in the finances as did others. This of course was denied at the May 2011 fans forum by the Board. The Auditors confirmed this eventuality by issuing a "going concern doubt" in the June 2011 final accounts.Yes BD did plug the gap by investing £K 400. But why couldn't there have been transparency earlier?”
