Georgian venue is looking to future
ONE of Boston's most historic buildings could soon be featured in films and television series.
Fydell House in South Square has signed up to be listed as a possible location for film crews shooting the likes of period dramas.

It is all part of plans put together by a new management team to increase use and revenue at the grand Georgian property.
And the house, which was built around 1720, is also on the lookout for more volunteers.
Volunteer co-ordinator Marion Flint told the Target: "We are open five days a week at the moment and we would like to increase that to seven days a week if we can get enough volunteers.
"A new management team has recently been formed and the future looks quite exciting.
"We are listed as a venue for filming and photo shoots. We have Wi-Fi access for anyone hiring rooms, we are licensed for weddings and we also have a super garden for those photos.
"Other ideas we are considering include a proms fashion show, a monthly Fydell feature night various functions in the garden and school visits.
"We want to attract more visitors both from Boston and further afield."
Distinguished visitors from the house's history include Sir Joseph Banks, Matthew Flinders, George Bass and Joseph Kennedy.
Admission is free and guided tours are available. For information call (01205) 351520 or email fydellhouse@btconnect.com
