5ft-tall snow penis shocks motorists in Stamford
Stunned motorists in Stamford are getting an unexpected eyeful after someone built a 5ft tall snow penis on a grass verge near Morrisons.
The ice sculpture appeared yesterday on the corner of Uffington Road and Priory Road - surprising drivers and shoppers alike.
One amused motorist told stamfordpeople: "I spotted it on my way into work and had to do a double-take.
"It popped up yesterday.

"It's about 5ft tall and from what I can tell anatomically correct - but obviously I didn't study it for too long.

Close to the sculpture someone - whether it's the same artists is unknown - has scraped away the snow to write the words 'penis town'.
No one has yet come forward to claim building the snow sculpture.
Is the sculpture obscene and irresponsible or just harmless fun?

“Just like to say, as it says no-one has come to claim, I built 7 of them, 6 of which were standing at 5am and then only 2 were standing by the afternoon which was one in Mountbatten avenue and obviously, the one that took me the longest, Morrisons roundabout. i have evidence on my phone lol I'm not making it up. i put every single one on my Facebook exactly after i made them. i started at 12:30 am Wednesday morning, finished at 5am and then went off to work at 6, very achy lol
