Gloucester City 1 Boston United 1: Half-time report
A wonder strike from skipper Ian Ross hauled Boston United level in their Skrill North clash at Gloucester City.
The midfielder beat home keeper Mike Green from fully 25 yards with an effort which crashed in off the post.
The goal cancelled out Tyler Weir’s third-minute penalty which gave Gloucester the lead at Whaddon Road. The spot-kick was given after United keeper Ashley Timms was adjudged to have brought down City skipper Tom Webb, who had burst into box.
The Pilgrims struggled to get going early on, but improved as the half progressed with Ricky Miller twice testing Green.
