Golden boots are a boost for Moorlands, says Tom Garrick
TOM GARRICK has talked up Lincoln Moorlands Railway's capabilities in front of goal ahead of their third league match of the season tomorrow, at Bradford outfit Thackley (3pm).
The Newark Road-based club have bagged 13 goals in their opening four games in all competitions this season, with three of those matches away from home including the stunning 6-0 FA Cup victory against Glapwell on Sunday.

Garrick, a former Lincoln City trainee, has four goals to his name already this campaign and believes the healthy competition among his team-mates to be top goalscorer can breed success at the club.
"We all want to be top goalscorer which provides healthy competition between us, there's plenty of banter at training about the whole thing which is good for team spirit," explained the 20-year-old.
"It can only be a good thing that we have a team capable of scoring goals.
"We even have defenders pitching in, after Ryan Creane scored against Glapwell."
Confidence is high in the Moorlands camp following an unbeaten start to the new season, with two FA Cup victories and two draws in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
Garrick admits tomorrow would be the perfect time to convert their knockout displays into league wins, and is confident the quality of the Moorlands line-up is good enough to compete with anyone.
"Every game is tough in this league, especially trips away from home but we have a great team that I feel can go anywhere and win," said the former American collegiate scholar.
"It's very important we transfer our cup form to our league matches, but we've been unlucky not to win in the league.
"It's an exciting time for the club with all the new faces we're seeing down here.
"The management wants as many good players in the squad as possible, it's all about having to earn our place in the team.
"There's a good level of quality in all areas of the field, whereas last season there were certain areas which lacked that depth of quality."
