Golf firm Ping creates 15 new jobs at new multi-million pound facility in Gainsborough
A global golf firm based in Lincolnshire has created 15 new jobs with the opening of a new multi-million pound facility.
PING, which also owns Gainsborough Golf Club, made the announcement as it unveiled the expansion of its Gainsborough site.
The sports giant says the work is the result of sustained annual growth and a sign of its optimism for the future.
It also expects to create more job opportunities as it continues its progress.

One of the world's biggest club manufacturers, PING says the new premises were needed to keep up with demand for its products.
Gainsborough has been the centre of the firm's European operations since 1973.
The latest project has seen the construction of a brand new office building and the revamp of existing facilities.
John Clark, managing director of PING Europe, said the company had a long-term commitment to Gainsborough.
"This is yet another example of how money has been invested into Gainsborough," he said.
"It's for the good of the people and PING's employees – the company and Gainsborough are entwined together.
"We have been in a period of significant sustained growth year on year and this has necessitated an expansion of our office space.
"It's all part of an ongoing expectation of growth."
The latest job opportunities mean 15 temporary employees have been added to 170 existing permanent members of staff.
There are now 220 permanent and temporary employees at the Gainsborough site, increasing from around 50 people in the 1990s.
Mr Clark said the new facility was an indication of the firm's intentions for the years ahead.
"It's a great statement of the prospects for the future and a sign of our expectations for continued growth," he said.
"If we can keep growing it will create more jobs. We feel very good about the future."
The new building was officially unveiled on Thursday, July 12.
Professional golfers, including world number three Lee Westwood, use the company's course regularly and players come from across the country to have custom clubs fitted.
Mr Clark said both of the businesses brought money into the town and their success helped to maintain the quality of PING's products.
"We have a lot of highly skilled, knowledgeable employees here and we couldn't replace that if we moved anywhere else," he said.
PING's community activities have included raising around £120,000 in a golf day for Gainsborough charities.
