Graham Drury hails Boston United's character ahead of tough away games
Graham Drury says Boston United are finally showing the character he is craving from his side.
The Pilgrims came from behind twice to snatch a 2-2 draw with Stalybridge last weekend, having pushed high-flying Guiseley all the way in a 2-1 defeat the week before.
United have developed a nasty habit of folding after falling behind this season, but since the 7-1 trouncing at Altrincham last month, United have shown more resolve, according boss Drury.
"In the last three games the players have given me a real response after that disastrous performance at Altrincham," said the former Corby Town boss.

"They're giving me everything at the moment.
"Stalybridge's second goal knocked us, but we got back into a rhythm.
"In the past the team has conceded and then collapsed.
"So it's a massive plus point that the players keep going and want to get the results."
Ahead of back-to-back away games at Solihull Moors on Saturday and Harrogate Town on Tuesday, Drury says he has finished revamping his squad following a busy month of ins and outs at the Jakemans Stadium.
"It's key that the players know there are no more comings and no more goings," said the Pilgrims boss.
"This is the group that's going to stick together. For the last 13 games they've got to give me all they've got and prove they've done enough to earn a deal for next year.
"At the moment, I'm not looking at next year, I'm looking at the next game.
"Some people think Graham Drury has come in and is looking at next year.
"But it's more about us trying to pick up points and win games of football.
"I want to finish the season strongly and go into pre-season on a high."
A young Pilgrims XI won 3-0 at Sleaford Town on Tuesday night. Brad Gascoigne, Jordan Nuttell and James Delarenzo scored the goals.
