GREEN Waste collections in East Lindsey will soon be phased back in.

East Lindsey District Council suspended green waste collections during the winter months.

The service will be phased back in between March 22 and April 2.

Residents are being urged to check the date of their first collection either on their bin calendar, online at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/wastecollection, or by calling the council's Customer Service Team on 01507 601111.

Your green bin can be used for grass cuttings, leaves, plants, prunings, sticks, cut flowers and tea bags.

Waste should be placed in your bin loosely and not in plastic bags, even if they are biodegradable.

Home composters can be purchased at a reduced price through a Lincolnshire wide scheme.
